Archer Tours operates out of Hamilton city about an hours drive from Auckland. To get to Hamilton from Auckland head south on the southern motorway. You will pass through the town of Huntly and the small township of Ngaruawahia, home of the Maori Queen.
When you enter Ngaruawahia you will cross the Waikato River, a river that the Tainui and Waikato tribes have a deep connection with. As you cross the bridge over the river look to you left and you will see the marae (meeting place) and home of the Maori Queen.
From Ngaruawahia its a 10 minute drive to Hamilton.
